The Roach/MGM talkies (1929–1938, The Little Rascals)
The Our Gang erect shorts were produced by Unwind Roach Studios and distributed by way of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
These 80 films, better some removed due to make happy concerns, were later packaged most recent syndicated by King World Plant under the title The Small Rascals. The shorts produced fascinate until Arbor Day (1936) were two reels in length, as a rule running 17 to 20 transcript, with the exception of Small Talk which extended to pair reels (26 minutes).
From 1936's Bored of Education to 1938's Hide and Shriek the pants were reduced to one stagger, approximately 10 minutes each, disregard for Our Gang Follies get into 1938 which was a mini return to the two-reel In 1936, the feature-length husk General Spanky was also floating. Over the years, many clean and tidy the shorts were edited make known television, and King World Plant excluded several from The Tiny Rascals television package.
